Some ISP’s and email providers just
don’t know who the good senders are. They’ll need instructions
from you and we can walk you through it.

	1. Add Small Cap Pulse to your address
book. This is simple and keeps our emails coming to your inbox
	and not getting filtered out.

 2. White List Small Cap Pulse with

Depending on your security settings,
you may have trouble receiving emails from an unrecognized source.
This is simple to fix. Simply find your email service provider
from the list below and follow the easy instructions to add us to their
white list so you can receive our emails without interruption.
This does no more than tell your email service that you anticipate receiving
the occasional email from us and to allow it into your inbox.

(- Keep in mind - This is a “specific
permission” and DOES NOT allow any unspecified senders permission
to email you.)
Investing in penny-stocks, or “micro-cap” stocks is a high-risk, high-reward proposition. The majority of companies that fall into this category are fundamentally unstable and their stocks will almost certainly be highly volatile. These companies are often under-funded and lack the financial infrastructure to execute their business plans successfully. If they report, their auditor opinions typically reflect that they are a “going concern”. For those of you that seek out these high-risk investments, you are undoubtedly not averse to the volatile swings in stock prices and sometimes illiquid markets that penny-stocks
offer. And you are also not looking for 10% growth in your penny-stock portfolio either. Rather, you are probably looking for return that is commensurate with the risk that you bear in these investments.

After all, many penny stocks actually turn the corner and evolve into compelling business successes, and in turn reward shareholders handsomely. Pace Linksys, which we remember watching as a penny stock that traded on the Pink Sheets, was subsequently purchased by Cisco Systems! The opportunities are certainly out there and our goal is to find them.

We can’t guarantee these kinds of results, and we don’t. We do, however, aim to identify interesting and compelling situations in the market with early stage businesses that we think are worth consideration with that percentage of your investment portfolio that is designated as high-risk and speculative. We aim to present thoughtful and fair commentary about the companies that we follow and we strive to present, for your consideration, companies that have a real opportunity to grow into successful long term businesses.

Ultimately, stock performance should be a direct result of the company’s business and financial performance. So our methodology is to provide insight into the business and financial progress of the companies that we follow – the good, the bad and the ugly. Our hope is that we will have more good to report than not.

In full disclosure, some of the companies that we follow have paid us to do so. More information pertaining to particular companies can be found in our disclosures which can be reached from our homepage. While we are paid to cover certain business, there are many companies that we will discuss solely based on the fact that they seem to us to be timely and worth mentioning. We do not make any guarantees to client companies as to the nature of our commentary, and our commentary is based solely on performance – good or bad.

We believe that this is a fair approach and again, we hope to bring timely and rewarding information to your desktop that you might not have had have had easy or immediate access to before. We urge you to do your own diligence on companies that we mention and follow, and the SEC website http://www.sec.gov is the best place to start.

The information contained within this Web site, including e-mail transmissions, faxes, recorded voice messages, and any other associated messages/media (hereinafter collectively referred to as "Information") is provided for informational purposes only. The Information should not be construed as investment/trading advice and is not meant to be a solicitation or recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any securities mentioned. SmallCapPulse.com does not issue "buy", "sell", or "hold" recommendations, and does not give personal investment counseling. For personal advice on your trading decisions, please consult with your financial advisors. SmallCapPulse.com is not a registered investment advisor or a broker dealer.

Before making a purchase or sale of any securities featured on SmallCapPulse or mentioned in our newsletter, we strongly encourage and recommend consultation with a registered securities representative. Merely because we mention or feature a companies stock does not mean that the stock is right for you. It is our opinion that the mentioned companies have trading potential and may rise as a result of momentum, volume, rumor, news, or other factors. While it is our goal to profile companies that have the potential for appreciation, trading in equity securities are risky and use of the Information provided is at the reader's sole risk.

The companies mentioned constitute very speculative investments. We do not guarantee, warrant or represent that any investor purchasing or selling the shares of any of the mentioned companies will profit from doing so. Readers should be aware of the possibility that they may lose all or a substantial portion of their investment were they to buy or sell shares in these companies.

The information should not be used as the sole basis for making any trading decision. Rather, readers should use the information as a starting point for doing additional research on the companies mentioned in order to allow the reader to form his or her own opinion. Such research should include, but is not limited to, each company's quarterly and annual reports, all SEC filings, and press releases. If you should ignore our advice to do independent research of industries, companies, and stocks, choosing instead to trade solely on our information, or opinions found in our information, you have made a conscious, willing, free, and personal decision to do so. You are responsible for your own investment decisions. If you choose to trade during volatile markets, we strongly urge the use of limit orders rather than market orders. It should be understood that any price targets or projections mentioned are solely opinions and should not be taken as suggested holding periods.

The information may contain "forward looking statements" within the meaning of Section 27A of the Securities Act of 1933 and Section 21B of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. Any statements that express or involve discussions with respect to predictions, expectations, beliefs, plans, projections, objectives, goals, assumptions or future events or performance are not statements of historical fact and may be "forward looking statements." Forward looking statements are based on expectations, estimates and projections at the time the statements are made that involve a number of risks and uncertainties which could cause actual results or events to differ materially from those presently anticipated. Forward looking statements in this action may be identified through the use of words such as "expects", "will", "anticipates", "estimates", "believes", or statements indicating certain actions "may", "could", or "might" occur. SmallCapPulse cannot predict the future price of any security.

Whenever we use examples of gains, or losses, in trading, the reader should understand that they are illustrative in nature and are measured in hind sight. Profile prices mentioned are derived from each security's most recent closing price at the time of publishing each report. The prices of such securities typically rise above or fall below the stated profile price before and after release of Information. Therefore, the results discussed may not actually have been attainable and investors should realize that they could achieve greater or lesser results. The performance of previous picks are not necessarily an indication of how our future picks will perform. We make no representation that any account will, or is likely to, achieve gains or losses similar to pick performances shown.

Our officers, employees, and others affiliated with SmallCapPulse may have positions in some of the stocks mentioned or profiled on SmallCapPulse.com and may buy or sell these securities at any time. Holding periods of positions can be any length of time. It should be understood that positions are typically taken before, and sometimes after, publication of Information. Such positions may increase or decrease before, during, or after distribution of Information without notice. Some or all of the positions will typically be sold should a mentioned stock sharply rise, no matter how attractive the stock is or has been.

All Information, including any analysis or opinion, is believed to be reliable, and is presented in good faith; but no representation or warranty, expressed or implied, is made as to its accuracy, completeness, or correctness. We reserve the right to make improvements to, or correct any content, omissions, or errors without notice. Opinions on stocks mentioned can also change at any time without notice. We are not responsible for any claims made by companies profiled. The recipient of any Information should understand that changes may occur in the affairs of companies profiled since the date of profiling. There is no guarantee, and we do not warrant, that companies profiled or discussed will continue to trade on their current exchange.

In no event shall SmallCapPulse and/or its publisher, Seacoast Advisors, Inc.. or any of its employees, affiliates, friends or family be liable for any direct, incidental, consequential, indirect or punitive damages whatsoever arising out of the use of the Information, or for any errors or omissions in the content thereof, including, but not limited to, from any investment loss, damage or expense incurred by any investor resulting from the Information, or from the purchase or sale of any profiled company or any company which we make commentary.

Stock Alerts

April 24, 2008 - In a market where energy prices are soaring, more efficiency in energy management is critical to controlling costs. Echelon’s technology enables businesses to monitor and save energy thereby reducing costs. The Company’s LonWorks technology has been validated and widely adopted through high profile OEM customers including EnerNOC, Fujitsu, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, NTT Data, Samsung and Siemens. Echelon also develops and markets an advanced metering infrastructure system called Networked Energy Services (NES) that enables utilities to reduce operating costs and better promote energy efficiency through better utilization of assets, improved grid quality and reliability and the ability to control loads and reduce peak demand.

It is also gaining traction with through sales of its iLON products that provide a platform for monitoring and reducing energy consumption and maintenance costs. Last year, Echelon announced a deal with McDonalds where it is encouraging its manufacturers to integrate LonWorks technology into new equipment to establish its “kitchen of the future.” The stock rallied to the low $30 range on the news.

Now, with the broader markets selling off in the face of a recessionary environment, Echelon’s stock has pulled all the way back to the $13 level. We think it is really compelling here at a price to sales ratio (ttm) of 3.89. Analyst expectations are for Echelon to report revenue of $177 million for 2008, which would put our target for the stock at about $17, representing about 30% to the upside from here.
